This May, in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Art in the Style of invites participants to dive into the bold, inventive world of Haegue Yang! Known for transforming everyday objects into dynamic, interactive art, Yang’s work challenges perceptions and sparks imagination.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will experiment with mixed media, texture, and movement to create their own vibrant, kinetic-inspired pieces. Explore how ordinary materials can become extraordinary art while honoring the creativity and cultural contributions of Asian American artists.

Get ready to make, move, and be inspired,  Yang’s art is all about seeing the world in a whole new way!
