Program Description

Event Details

Spend an afternoon growing as an artist with instructor Irving.
Bring finished pieces, works in progress, or even old projects and join a supportive group discussion centered on sharing and learning from one another.

This class invites participants to practice talking about their art, gain fresh perspectives, and receive constructive feedback in a beginner-friendly environment. Through guided conversation and open exchange, you’ll develop the language and confidence to reflect on your work and the work of others.

Each session is shaped by the artwork participants bring, making every class a unique opportunity to sharpen your eye, strengthen your practice, and connect with fellow artists.

Classes are held once a month on Tuesday evenings.

This is a single-session class.

This class is once a month and open to all artists with artwork they wish to bring and share. You must bring at least one piece regardless of it's completion stage to join the discussion with the class.

If a class is full, you may come in person and wait to see if a seat becomes available. Once the doors close, any open seats will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Only 10 seats are available, so please sign up any guests that wish to attend with you as well.

Classes will take place on the 4th floor of the J. Erik Jonsson Library, inside the Lillian M. Bradshaw Gallery.

Materials:

Easels and art boards will be provided to display any art during the class.
