Event Details

March Madness is hitting the Dallas Public Library and the branches are battling it out!

Select branches are armed with either a Nintendo Switch or a Wii and will be hosting game nights on select Fridays at 4 p.m. for the Switch and Wednesdays for the Wii. On these days you can battle it out with fellow gamers at one of our library locations and find out who the best Branch is! Winning locations will win a Golden Controller Trophy and bragging rights for the season. 

Nintendo Switch Fridays

These locations will have a Nintendo Switch and will be playing Super Smash Bros.

THE TEAMS:

  • Hampton-Illinois Branch
  • Highland Hills Branch
  • Vickery Park Branch
  • Forest Green Branch

WEEK 1: March 18 at 4 p.m.
Matches will consist of 3 rounds. 

  • Vickery Park Branch VS. Forest Green Branch
  • Hampton-Illinois Branch VS. Highland Hills

WEEK 2: March 25 at 4 p.m.
Matches will consist of 3 rounds. 

  • Highland Hills Branch VS. Forest Green Branch 
  • Vickery Park Branch VS. Hampton-Illinois Branch 

WEEK 3: April 8 at 4 p.m.
Matches will consist of 3 rounds.

  • Championship tournament 

 

Nintendo Wii Wednesdays

These locations will have a Nintendo Wii and will be playing Wii Sports
