Spring is in the air, and it's time to celebrate the things that come with the return of spring: flowers, bunnies and, of course, egg hunts! We have programs for all ages throughout April that will make winter a distant memory.

 

For Kids & Families

 

Crafty Kids: Bouncing Spring Bunnies

Tuesday, April 1, 4 to 5 p.m., Arcadia Park Branch

Come for a fun after-school craft activity as we make bouncing spring bunnies! For ages 6 to 12.

 

My First Arts & Crafts

Wednesday, April 2, 4 to 4:30 p.m., Timberglen Branch

Let your toddler or preschooler get in touch with their crafty side in this age-appropriate craft program. This month we’re making Easter egg cards.

 

Eggs and Bunnies in Art presented by the Nasher Sculpture Center

Wednesday, April 2, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., North Oak Cliff Branch

In celebration of our favorite bunny and specially decorated eggs we will focus on bunnies and eggs in art. There will also be an activity for the children to complete. For ages 6 to 12.

 

Toddler Craft - Paper Roll Bunny Stamps

Thursday, April 3, 10:30 to 11 a.m., Lochwood Branch

On the first and third Thursdays each month, we do a craft specifically for our youngest library patrons! With your help, your toddler or preschooler will make paper roll bunny stamps.

Gather your family for an afternoon of games and art! Take part in creating a pressed flower lantern to celebrate the first full month of spring or pull up a chair to play a game with family and new friends.
