Lordy Lordy...Central is turning 40!

It's true! The central library is celebrating its 40th birthday this year, and you're invited! It was 1982 when we opened, and so we're jumping back in time to when glam rock rocked and hairstyles reached the sky. We're celebrating 80s style!

We'll have a number of great festivities to enjoy, including:

Tuesday, April 5th-Saturday, October 1st

“A New Central Research Library For Dallas” Exhibit - imagery and artifacts documenting the building’s conception and design to its construction and early days of use will be on display - 7th floor

Tuesday, April 5th-Friday, April 8th
