Event Details
Is your yarn stash taking over? Did you dive into embroidery, only to realize it wasn’t your thing? Do you jump into new hobbies every month, leaving the old ones behind? Or maybe you’re eager to try something new but don’t want to splurge on supplies? Let’s swap and share!
Bring your donations of new or gently used craft supplies to our Craft Supply Swap. You can drop off supplies ahead of time between March 17 and April 4 during normal hours, then "shop" all the donated items on Saturday, April 5.
*Items should be in good, usable condition. When in doubt, think, “Would I give this to a friend?”
*Suggested items to donate include:
· Yarn
· Fabric and felt
· Ribbon
· Knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch counters, etc.
· Needlework kits/Supplies (counted cross stitch, embroidery, etc.)
· Sewing notions (thread, trim/binding, zippers, buttons, etc.)
· Rubber stamps, useable ink pads, embossing tools/heat tools
· Paper and cardstock for card-making/scrapbooking
· Jewelry making supplies and tools
· Art supplies, useable art paints, brushes, canvases, graphite/pastels, art paper
· Instructional craft books and pattern books—knitting, crochet, quilting/sewing, cross-stitch
· Patterns—clothing, doll clothing, home décor
· Tools in clean, working order with owner’s manual included
Please, no partial bottles of glue, glue-type liquids, spray paint, or paint thinners or additives.
**Any supplies remaining after the swap will be considered donations to the library and will be used for library programs.
