Crafternoon: Lois Mailou Jones Mask Drawings

As we celebrate Black History Month, we will learn about different African American artists and their different art styles. Lois Mailou Jones started her art career as a textile designer and transitioned to art when her ability to create such beautiful designs was questioned. One of the things she is most known for are her stylized mask drawings. During this after school craft, we will be learning to draw masks in Lois Mailou Jones' style.
