This vibrant event, led by the talented Dallas artist Lilia Estrada, is part of the dynamic Culture of Value micro-grant program, a collaboration between the Office of Arts and Culture, Dallas Public Library, and Dallas Parks and Recreation. Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, this program shines a spotlight on ALAANA (African, Latino(a), Asian, Arab, and Native American) artists and their rich cultural traditions. Join Lilia as she brings the iconic La Catrina to life, exploring its deep cultural roots and significance.
