How do you know whether something is living or nonliving? In this lesson, students use hands-on exploration to discover the characteristics of all living things, determine their basic needs, and sort living and nonliving objects. Group size - 30 participants. Recommended for children in K – 1st grades. This program sponsored by Epsilon, Friends of the Dallas Public Library, and The Dallas Foundation.
