Event Details
The Downtown Book Club discovers new books each month from all genres. Adults are welcome to attend, meet new people, and discuss the books we love, like, or loathe. Members meet the last Saturday of each month at 11:00 AM at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.
For the month of April we will be reading "Competitive Grieving" by Nora Zelevansky. Competitive Grieving is a dark, touching comedy-and unlikely love story-about loss and the chaotic aftermath of death. It takes an honest look at the universal struggle to tune out the noise and grieve, to love in the face of loss, and to yearn to truly know someone who is gone forever.
This title is available in print format and via Hoopla in both e-book and e-audiobook.
