Join Dallas Public Library staff on May 11, 2018 at 1 pm in the plaza outside the Central Library on Young Street for an informal walk around downtown as we explore the area surrounding the library with an eye toward the physical accessibilty of downtown Dallas in regard to our mobility impaired customers. 

This walk is inspired by Jane’s Walk, an annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs.

Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.

Walks take place in hundreds of cities around the world on May 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2018!
