Event Details
Spend an afternoon practicing and brushing up on your art skills with our art instructor Irving. Come prepared with a sketchbook and join in for lessons in various media, techniques, and subjects.
Classes explore drawing through a self-managed process as sketches will range from finished drawings to studies in composition, arrangements, form and structure, value, and the development of individual approaches to content. Classes will include feedback and review focused lessons on scheduled days.
Held on Thursdays and on scheduled weekends.

This is a single session class, once confirmed your seat will be reserved for the scheduled class. If you were not sent a confirmation email you will be placed on the waiting list and will be notified if any seats become available.
There are only 10 seats available so please state if you wish to bring one or more attendees with you. Sign-ups are always open beginning on Mondays, availability is based on a first come first served basis.
- We will be having the class on the 4th floor of the J Erik Jonsson Library inside the Lillian M. Bradshaw Gallery.
- The class is for ages 14 and up only, minors are to be accompanied by an adult guardian.
- The only required material is an 8.5 x 11 inch sketchbook. Drawing tools and large drawing paper pads will be available for certain lessons. Artists are encouraged to bring their own sketching tools and drawing pads to become more accustomed to their media of choice.
