Join Adam Ozier as he shares how Groundwork Dallas educates and equips urban youth to become conservation leaders. Groundwork Dallas is known for forested trail construction and conservation programs that promote national park quality open spaces. They work in Dallas to restore locations such as Dallas’ Elm Fork Greenbelt and the Great Trinity Forest. Adam will talk about trails and the organization’s efforts to build an appreciation and stewardship for the environment and wildlife in Dallas. It all comes down to the Trinity River watershed, and the people and wildlife counting on it.
Earth Day Every Day! is a series of online environmental education sessions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Presented by Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability (DEQS; Green Dallas).
