Join us the last Thursday of every month from 10:00am - 11:00am for Earth Day Every Day, in person on the 5th floor of the Central Library downtown!

In this bilingual presentation, we will explore how to get curious and get to know some of our non-human neighbors right here in Dallas. Have you ever noticed an Osage orange (bois d'arc) tree's orange bark and "horse apple" fruit? Have you investigated some of the ancient marine shells and shark teeth in our riverbanks? Have you greeted any scissor-tailed flycatchers, one of our colorful, returning summer resident birds? There is a bit of local nature for everyone's interests. Who do you become when you step outside?

Presented in collaboration with the City of Dallas' Office of Environmental Quality.
