For some, picking up trash is a chore. For Madeline Bracken, it’s therapeutic! 

What started as a hefty goal of picking up 1 million pieces of litter has blossomed into a life of community, healing, and education. We’ll be hearing about this journey as well as how Madeline started some low-cost sustainability initiatives like composting and rainwater harvesting and using social media to connect with and uplift community. 

Attendees will leave with ideas, inspiration, and practical steps to take action in their own neighborhoods—no matter where they’re starting from.
