Earth Kids – Climate Action

We’re Climate Kids today with a special presentation about how we know the climate is changing, does climate change things all the way to the mountains and the oceans? Have you heard of the Greenhouse Gas Effect?  Dallas is working to slow down the effects of climate change and you can help. Climate affects weather patterns, so let’s make paper airplanes to show how weather ultimately affects everything. We’ll also learn about Climate Action Day.

Earth Kids is a series of monthly in person programs with hands on activities with the Dallas Public Library and Dallas Environmental Quality and Sustainability. The program is aimed at kids 14 and under encouraging them to become environmentalists and learn different ways to take care of the planet.
