Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning about different Latin American countries!

Explore Latin America is a series of programs that feature a new country in Latin American each Saturday learning about its culture and people through stories, art, food, and dance.

Kick of Hispanic Heritage Month with Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli Aztec Dance Performance at the Vickery Park Branch on September 17 at 11 a.m.

  • Mexico at the Skillman Southwestern Branch on September 24 at 10:30 a.m.
  • Colombia at the Audelia Road Branch on October 1 at 10:30 a.m.
  • Puerto Rico at the Forest Green Branch on October 8 at 10:30 a.m.
  • El Salvador at the Vickery Park Branch on October 15 at 11 a.m.
    • Registration is required for the Pupusa making demonstration
