Event Details
Join us for a special three-part Family History workshop for those just getting started on their genealogy. The emphasis will be on learning your family's stories and details about your ancestors and how to save this information for future generations. This is a hands-on class to help you create an online account and start building your family tree.
Each of the three sessions is 1.5 hours long. You are encouraged to attend all three sessions, but if you are unable to make it to all of them, please come anyway. No registration is required.

Turning Your Heart to Your Ancestors
Growing Your Family Tree in FamilySearch (free account)
Session 2 - Tuesday, April 24th from 10:30-Noon
Preserving Your Memories - Photos & Stories (how to upload to FamilySearch)
Session 3 - Tuesday, May 1st from 10:30-Noon
Documents, Records - fact or fiction (finding source information about your ancestors)
Optional (date & time to be determined)
Visit to the Genealogy Division of the Dallas Public Library
