Event Details
Children, ages 8-12, will learn the basic tools to begin their own genealogy research in this exciting interactive workshop. This hands-on program provides an opportunity to start a family tree, understand basic genealogy terms and leave with a plan to continue learning about their family history. Participants will discover the type of records and documents they can locate. Siblings are welcome with adult supervision.
Requirements: Each child must be accompanied by one parent or guardian. Each participant should bring one or more photographs of a grandparent or relative from an older generation.
