Griot Storytelling with Afiah Bey sponsored by Atmos energy!

Afiah Bey will give the community of children an understanding of the importance of the Griot/storyteller.  A Griot (gree-o) tells the history of a people through stories, songs, rhythms, theatre, dance and visual arts.  Those who actively participate will enhance their self-esteem by listening and interacting with the Griot's storytelling and teaching of morals and values.
