Celebrate Banned Books Week September 28th - October 9th at the Kleberg-Rylie Branch Library!

The Guess That Banned Book! program is free to participate inside the library. Visit and find the guessing jar filled with the shredded pages of one popular Childrens or Adult book that was challenged in 2020! Submit your guess by the end of day October 9th. Enter as many times as you want! Winners who guess the correct title will be contacted October 12th to pick up a small prize!

Censorship divides us, but books unite us! Every year libraries across the nation celebrate Banned Books Week to raise awareness of book titles that have been banned or challenged in some way through-out history. This year, visit the library to learn more about the top ten books that were challenged in 2020 and play a fun game while you're there.
