Practiced for over 5000 years in Pakistan, India, Africa, and the Middle East, henna (or mahndi or mehendi in Hindi & Urdu) has been used in a variety of ways from medicine to body art. But how did such a plant grow to be used in so many different ways?
Dr. Kulkarni from Astanga Ayurved Wellness Center, in Dallas,TX will lead this presentation from the discovery of henna, its preparation, cultural significance, uses, and its evolution.
