Join author Nancy Churnin and Special Guest, Steve Sandy as we learn about William Hoy, a Deaf baseball player in celebration of National Deaf History Month.  Nancy Churnin is an award-winning author of ten children's picture books and the former theater critic for the Dallas Morning News. The William Hoy Story: How a Deaf Baseball Player Changed the Game about Deaf baseball legend, William Hoy, was her first published book.  Steve Sandy assisted Nancy in writing the book and will be sharing his William Hoy memorabilia collection during the program.
