There is no denying that the past few years have been difficult for many of us. In observance of National Stress Awareness Day, the staff of the Dallas Public Library will be hosting a presentation on the practice of journaling and how it can help you. Keeping a journal or a diary has some excellent benefits which can help manage and reduce stress, improve your mood, and organize your thoughts. Even if your entry is less than a page, the difference can be noticeable.
Regardless of whether you'd like to keep your journal on a computer or go traditional by keeping your thoughts on paper, you can gain a great deal from writing your thoughts and feelings down. Not to mention, you can customize your journal to be whatever you like. Rest assured, all levels of experience are welcome. No matter if you've kept a journal for years, or if you're just looking to start a habit up, this presentation will have something for you.
This program is available online only, through Zoom. Registration is required. Instructions on how to participate will be provided by email. Please be sure to check your spam folder, as sometimes the reminders and notifications will go there. This program is possible through funding from the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
