Hey Kids,
Do you want to know how-to cook? Join us for Kids Cook. We make amazing dishes with everyday ingredients. Lets create some awesome cuisines.
Supplies:
- 1 paring or plastic knife
- 1 cutting board
- 2 plate (paper or plastic plate)
- 2 spoons
- 1/2 cup & 1/4 measuring cup
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 sealable jar
Sandwich Sushi
- 1 loaf of bread (white or wheat, your choice) or 1 flour tortilla for alternative
- Sandwich or deli meat (ham, turkey or vegan meat; your choice)
- Carrot Sticks
- Cucumber sticks (pickles are a substitute as well)
- Mayonnaise or mustard
- 1 Cheese Slices (Cheddar, mozzarella or whatever cheese your prefer)
Create your Own Trail Mix
- 1 bag of peanuts (almonds or pretzels are substitutes)
- 1 bag of grains
- 1 bag of candy (examples are M&Ms, Recess Pieces or Hershey pieces) but avoid any fruit-based candy (ex. Starbusts and Skittles)
- 1 bag of chocolate chips
- 1 bag of dried fruit (raisins, dried apricots, bananas or other fruits can be used)
- 1 bag of coconut shaving (optional)
