The Lakewood Library Friends welcome award-winning health and science jounalist Laura Beil formerly with The Dallas Morning News, who reported on and hosted the massively popular podcast Dr. Death about a criminally inept local Dallas neurosurgeon and Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Michelle Shugart who prosecuted him.
