4th Annual Lunar New Year Festival

Celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse with this family-friendly cultural festival! The Lunar New Year is one of the largest holidays in Chinese culture and is celebrated by billions of people worldwide.   

A variety of activities, performances and local vendors will be at the library to commemorate this important and widely celebrated holiday: 

• Performances

  • Lion Dance and Kung Fu demonstration - 11:30 a.m.

    • Provided by Lee's White Leopard Kung Fu School

  • Tea Ceremony and guzheng performance - 10:30 a.m.

    • Provided by Sunshine Studios

• Face Painting - 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Food 

  • The Bop Bop

• Wishing Tree 

• Crafts 

• Local authors and vendor booths 

  • Leo's Bark, Spicytude, Lucy's Uniques, Rukki Torune, Simple and Clean Candles, MC Ying's Crafts, Meagan Anderson
