Welcome to our Lunch and Learn series where we will invite local experts to discuss topics of interest from history to philosophy to science and more. This month will feature our own Caitlin Hughes, in honor of Friday the 13th we are looking into classic horror films from the 19080s. In her talk, "The Plight of the 80's Final Girl," Caitlin will discuss the rise of the final girl as a trope and the deeper meaning behind it in our favorite campy horror films.
