Lakewood Library welcomes Master Gardener John Hunt to present Veg-Out and learn when and how to grow your veggies.
As available we will also have related seed packets and sprouted seeds to giveaway to attendees.

John Hunt
John Hunt is a Pressed Leaf Artist, Dallas County Master Gardener, Citizen Forester, member of the Gardeners of America and Garden Writers Association. He is a horticulturist and has written more than 100 original articles for newspapers, magazines and newsletters and gives seminars on garden topics.
Inspired by H.S. Stevens, John began speaking on gardening topics, then co-hosting a weekly “Garden Talk” radio show, also hosted many gardening segments on morning TV and writing gardening article for many magazines, newsletters and newspapers. In 2006 he joined the Dallas County Master Gardeners and continues to speak and write on gardening topics. John now creates pressed leaf botanical art. (Yes, it’s an obsession.)
