Join us online on Saturday, September 16th from 11:00am - Noon for another fun and informational presentation by the Master Naturalists!

Learn more abut the Urban Wildlife Information Network (UWIN) an international research project started by the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Their focus is monitoring wildlife along the urban to rural gradient using camera traps. The Fort Worth UWIN project began in 2021 and uses the TX-199 corridor as a transect to collect data in Tarrant and Parker Counties. This presentation will discuss the purpose of the project as well as some unexpected findings.

By improving our understanding of urban wildlife, we can learn how to design our communities with wildlife in mind to create places where both people and nature can thrive!
