Join us for our first installment of "Money Moves" talks: focusing on financial literacy, small business tips, tricks, and other entrepreneurial topics. Wednesday, April 13th at 5:30pm, we will be hosting An Introduction to Stocks and Investing on the 5th floor of the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.

This presentation will focus on how to think about investing in the stock market. A financial literacy expert will explain the differences between individual stocks, ETFs, REITs, and other investment options in the stock market. We will also discuss the value of time in the market and how to generally allocate a portfolio.

Our presenter is financial literacy expert David Khalif, co-founder and head of operations for Viridi Funds: an SEC registered investment advisor that focuses on innovative financial products. Prior to his time at Viridi Funds, David worked as a financial analyst completing a two-year finance rotation program at Microsoft. David graduated from the University of Kansas with a double major in finance and business analytics.

This will be a live event held indoors. Social distancing and masks are strongly encouraged. Register now to reserve your spot.
