Money Moves: An Introduction to Stocks and Investing

If so, you're invited to attend our first installment of "Money Moves" talks: focusing on financial literacy, small business tips, tricks, and other entrepreneurial topics. Wednesday, September 21st, 2022 we will be hosting An Introduction to Stocks and Investing in the classrooms of the Bachman Lake Library

This presentation will focus on how to think about investing in the stock market. A financial literacy expert will explain the differences between individual stocks, ETFs, REITs, and other investment options in the stock market. We will also discuss the value of time in the market and how to generally allocate a portfolio.

Our presenter is financial literacy expert David Khalif, co-founder and head of operations for Viridi Funds: an SEC-registered investment advisor focusing on innovative financial products. Before his time at Viridi Funds, David worked as a financial analyst completing a two-year finance rotation program at Microsoft. David graduated from the University of Kansas with a double major in finance and business analytics.
