Kick off the Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge, Wakanda Style!  Help us celebrate Marvel's first African American superhero, Black Panther!

  • Enjoy beautiful African Art and Culture of West Africa presented by Akwete Tyehimba. 
  • Make fun African and superhero crafts.
  • Costume Contest: Come dressed in your best African inspired outfit or your best superhero outfit.
  • Sign up for the Mayor's Summer Reading Challenge and learn about great incentives.
