Event Details

Calling all junior artists! Celebrate the new year with the world. Explore symbols which mean prosperity, good luck, health, and protection of their home to different world cultures. This week we will be creating Indian Rangoli design.  

Indian Rangoli Design supplies:

  • Plain white paper plates
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • bright colored markers
  • optional: sequins, rhinestones, glitter glue can all be used to fancy up your symmetrical rangoli design/pattern.

Next week we will be exploring the Chinese New Year mask.
