Event Details

Three of the four poets that have presented at a U.S. presidential inauguration are African American women. Join us as we explore and examine the inaugural address poems of Maya Angelou, Elizabeth Alexander, and Amanda Gorman. We will discuss the themes, symbols, and importance of these three poems by three proud black women.
