Event Details
Roots for Youth has developed into a cognitive learning system using cultural education programs, playscripts/curriculum, children’s literature, games/puzzles to help youth embrace the African/African-American culture and simultaneously increase cognitive development. Participants will learn the basics of Ghanaian Adinkra and Batik printing, Nigerian Adire cloth, and Abomey Applique of the Republic of Benin.
