Event Details

Get ready for Science Experiment Saturdays, a monthly adventure where school-age kids can dive into the messiest and most creative experiments! It's the perfect time and place for young scientists to unleash their curiosity and discover the wonders of science in a fun and hands-on environment.

February’s Science Experiment Saturdays will dig into the science of plants and pollinators. Participants will make seed bombs using air-dry clay and wildflower seeds native to Texas—a fun and eco-friendly way to help plant friends grow. This hands-on activity is perfect for budding botanists of all ages interested in learning about native plants and their environmental benefits.

Take home your seed bombs to spread the love by planting them in your garden or a nearby green space, creating habitats for pollinators and inspiring future scientists.

This program is proudly sponsored by the Oak Lawn Library Friends.
