Join the Secret Society of Children's Books as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. View a first edition copy of the book, hear about the history of the story, listen to readings from Little Women, and learn about the life of young women in the 1860’s through a presentation by Dallas Heritage Village.

The Secret Society of Children’s Books is a series of programs showcasing rare and unusual items from the Siddie Joe Johnson Children's Literature Collection at the Dallas Public Library.
