Some of the most vibrant colors in clothing during Shakespeare's era came from distilled plants. Historic dye-maker Jennifer Ratcliffe joins Botanical Shakespeare author Gerit Quealy for this fun & informative hands-on workshop on how to make dyes out of plants & flowers the old-fashioned way.

Free kits to dye your own silk scarf are available while supplies last. Please indicate which Dallas Public Library Branch you would like to pick your kit up at when you register. We will notify you when your kit is at your chosen location and ready to pickup.
