Have you ever wondered why doctors seem to have that little device around their necks? That device is called a stethoscope, and it allows doctors to listen to your heart and other sounds inside your body! Create your own stethoscope, and then use your math skills and the scientific method to see how your heartbeat changes when you’re sitting down versus when you get up and move.
Supplies are provided while supplies last.
Part of SMART Summer. Sponsored by the Friends of the Dallas Public Library
