Get ready for a summer of curiosity, creativity, and just the right amount of mess with our Science Experiment Tuesdays series!
Each week, kids will take part in a new hands-on experiment while learning how to think like real scientists. Through exploring, estimating, observing, and drawing conclusions, participants will be guided through the scientific method in a way that’s fun, engaging, and easy to understand. Best of all, all the mess stays here. Parents can relax knowing the cleanup is handled. This is the perfect place for kids to get a little messy while learning something seriously cool.
Bring your curiosity and get ready to experiment!
Our final Science Experiment Tuesdays session is Solar S’mores, a delicious experiment where science turns into a sweet treat! Participants will build a simple heat-powered setup using a heat lamp to simulate the sun’s energy. They’ll experiment with how light and heat can be directed and concentrated to warm ingredients enough to toast a marshmallow and melt chocolate into the perfect gooey s’more. Along the way, kids will make predictions, test different configurations, and observe how changes in distance, angle, and materials affect the results. This hands-on activity brings physics and engineering concepts to life in a fun, accessible way while reinforcing the scientific method through exploration, testing, and discovery. It’s a sweet and satisfying way to wrap up a summer full of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on science.
