Social Media for Seniors: Goodreads

This is an introductory presentation for participants in learning more about the major social networking applications of our time. In this case, the focus will be Goodreads, a popular social media platform that focuses on books and book reviews. It's open to all skill & knowledge levels.

Here are a few areas that the program will focus on. 

• The basics of how to sign up for Goodreads, and how to start building your profile. 
• How to create your own reading lists, manage your progress trackers, finding authors.
• Posting reviews, comments, and sending private messages. 
• General Q&A for the participants that have more specific questions. 

This event will be held online through a Zoom meeting. Participants do not need to have a Goodreads account in order to participate. This program is made possible through funding from the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.
