STEM and Story: "The Water Princess"

"The Water Princess" by Susan Verde tells the story of young girls walking daily to fill pots with water to be used for basic necessities such as drinking, bathing, and cooking. This afternoon we will read this story and then will try to help solve this real-world problem by testing out different materials to use as a water filters.
