StoryCorps: Preserving Oral Histories - A special presentation by Victor Chapa
Family history through the collection of oral histories allows genealogists to capture memories, verify and preserve information that brings to life family group sheets and pedigree charts. Using StoryCorps, an inspiring archival of stories and their award-winning app, interviewers can preserve stories, testimonies, thoughts and feelings about family history with a simple step-by-step process.
This free presentation is made possible by the Dallas Genealogical Society. Join the Dallas Genealogical Society for hospitality starting at 10:30 a.m., a small business meeting occurring at 11:00 a.m., followed by the free program, StoryCorps: Preserving Oral Histories at 11:15 a.m.
