La Llorona, The Tale of Taroo and Alida, Hombre Caiman, and The Pesanta, from the most known to the unknown Latinx folktales! Bring in Hispanic Heritage month with fun storytellings of Latinx folktales in both English and Spanish! The Dallas Public Library is partnering with members of the City of Dallas' Latinx employee organization- Hispanic Association of City Employees for Results (HACER), to bring you this storytelling program. 
Sit, listen, and be entertained as we read from different Latinx folktales and discuss their origins. 


The program will be held via Zoom, and online only.  All registrants will receive an email from Humanities@dallascityhall.com with the program link and details day of the program, about 30 minutes before the program's start.

La Llorona, La Leyenda del Picaflor , Hombre Caiman y La Pesanta, ¡de los cuentos latinx más populares conocidos y desconocidos! ¡Celebra el mes de la herencia hispana con agradables narraciones de cuentos populares latinx en inglés y español! La Biblioteca Pública de Dallas se está asociando con miembros de la organización de empleados latinx de la ciudad de Dallas, la Asociación Hispana de Empleados de la Ciudad para Resultados (HACER), para ofrecerle este programa de narración de historias. 

 

Relájense, escuchen y disfruten mientras leemos de diferentes cuentos populares latinx y hablamos de sus orígenes. 

 

El programa se llevará a cabo a través de Zoom y solo en línea. Todos los solicitantes recibirán un correo electrónico de Humanities@dallascityhall.com con el enlace del programa y los detalles sobre el día del programa, aproximadamente 30 minutos antes del inicio del programa.
