Event Details

Deep Ellum, known for being a premier entertainment destination in Dallas, celebrated its 150-year anniversary as a neighborhood this past year. Deep Ellum was established in 1873 as both a residential and commercial neighborhood, and was one of Dallas’ first commercial districts for African-Americans and European immigrants, making it one of the most historically and culturally significant neighborhoods in the city.  

Join us for a Storytelling Summit: Honoring 150 Years of Deep Ellum presented by the Deep Ellum Foundation in conjunction with the Dallas Public Library, Westdale, Life in Deep Ellum, Deep Vellum Books, and the Deep Ellum Community Association.
