Celebrate Local Creators • Summer Vibes • Live Music

Get ready to turn up the volume and dive into summer fun at the Dallas Public Library’s Summer Reading Kickoff Concert & Party! We’re celebrating the start of SMART Summer with an epic bash featuring amazing local bands, creative vendors, chill drinks, and all the good vibes you need to start your summer off right.

SMART Summer isn't just for kids; adults can participate and win prizes, too! 

What you'll discover downtown:

  • Live music from local musicians Carly Carroll (@carlycarroll_) , TRVR? (@trevordmusic) and Brody Price ( bringing the summer soundtrack 
  • Watercoloring class from Kelechi Art 
  • Food vendors Oh My Curry , Chef Troy Gardner  , Mo Matcha 
  • Fun activities
  • Local businesses celebrating Dallas’ vibrant creative community
  • On-site SMART Summer Reading sign-up — adults can join and win prizes just for reading!
  • And Free Drinks:
    • Beer and boozy popsicles
      • Limit 2 per person. A valid ID is required for a drink ticket.
    • Soda and juices!
