Have you ever wanted to visit Peru but never had the time? Embark on a culinary tour with Taste of Peru in partnership with the Consulate General of Peru and some of the best Peruvian restaurants right here in Dallas! These talented chefs will demonstrate how to cook up some of the most iconic dishes from the land of abundance including ceviche, lomo saltado, and alfajores. 

This stop will feature Lima Taverna. This family owned business located in Plano serves the finest Peruvian fusion in the DFW area. They use influences of other cultures and combine it with Peruvian flavors to create some of the most flavorful dishes. They will demonstrate how they cook ceviche and jalea, two of the most iconic seafood dishes of Peru.
