If you love talking about murder, listening to true crime podcasts, and daydream about becoming a crime scene investigator, then this book club is for you!

This February, we will be discussing Kate Winkler Dawson's Death in the air: the true story of a serial killer, the great London smog, and the strangling of a city. In 1950s London, the city was brought to a screeching halt by the emissions of automobiles and coal burning hearths. But the smog that descended on the Great British capitol was not the only thing lurking in the streets. There was also a hunter using the suffocating air as cover for his horrible deeds. Among the 12,000 smog related deaths, there were at least 6 deaths perpetrated by one man.

Join us February 21st from 2-3 pm at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. Please come prepared to discuss at least the first three chapters.

You can find copies of the book here and here.
