City Directories are a useful tool for discovering where your ancestor lived, their occupation and tracking their migration over time. Yet not all city directories are available online and many are hard to navigate. In this live program, Dallas Public Library's Genealogy Specialist Mic Barnette will explain the origins and contents of city directories, where to locate hard-to-find directories and how to use them for your own genealogy research.

This program is online only.
